One of the great transformations in e-procurement business solutions 10 years ago was ease of use. The objective was to have a shopping solution similar to that of Amazon, one that resembled the intuitiveness of its marketplace and its user experience. Vroozi and BuyerQuest (acquired by ODP) were two of the solutions that pioneered this Amazon-type experience and which remain in the market today, growing and improving their e-procurement capabilities for both professional buyers and casual buyers within an organization.

Vroozi and BuyerQuest have participated in our benchmarking exercise of e-procurement solutions “SolutionMap” since 2017 and on all occasions they have shown very competitive capabilities, especially for medium-sized business markets with a desire for rapid implementations, great usability, easy configuration, and with out-of-the-box ERP integrations. Although in our analysis of SolutionMap they are both leaders in the mid-market, their competitiveness also covers the needs of the large enterprise market segment, although the competition may be greater in this segment.
Both solution vendors exceed the functional benchmark in catalog management, this is where the key strength lies for both vendors. In a side-by-side comparison Vroozi exceeds BuyerQuest’s scores in more categories than BuyerQuest exceeds Vroozi, positioning it as a more robust platform, however, BuyerQuest exceeds Vroozi in two key e-procurement functional categories: catalog management and requisitioning.
